Kara fabina (colorado)
Kara Fabina is an international dance instructor based in Colorado Springs, with a dynamic career spanning over three decades. Since 2005, she has been teaching and competing in multiple dance styles including ballet, hip-hop/urban dances, jazz, swing, and blues across the globe. Kara’s extensive background includes a BA in Dance and Psychology, training in pedagogy and teaching dance movement, and curriculum development for many communities and non-profits. Her classical training is complemented by her involvement in running an all-female breakdancing crew and being a performer in Baltimore’s Guardian Dance Company. Her performances have graced arenas such as Mountain Dew Extreme Sports events, an MTV Brazil music video, the Kennedy Center, numerous other national stages, and most recently a movie to be released late 2025.
jen delk (colorado)
Follower, leader, organizer, student, teacher, music nerd (actually everything nerd). Jen started teaching dance in college to afford the habit. She refused to believe there was one way to break something down. Her curiosity about how things worked as a child taught her that if you try hard enough you can break something and if you try harder you might be able to put it back together making it better than before.
In the classroom Jen often draws on her own journey to find grounding, a voice, and a better connection with the music as a lead and follow. It’s been a long journey, it’s definitely not over, and she will gladly share what she has learned along the way.
Jen lives in Denver, and when she isn’t scheming about future dance related projects ,she is probably at home jumping on her trampoline.
kerian pearson (philadelphia)
Kerian is a lifelong dancer who began her social dance journey in her late teens, but even before that had their love of the Blues ingrained during jams with family friends as a child. They consider their mother one of their primary dance inspirations.
Classes with her are known for their rich historic and culturally aware curriculum, while her approach and physicality is also impacted by the 14 years of classical ballet training and other concert dance styles.
They also have a passion for dance movement therapy, making accessibility in dance a primary concern. While she enjoys teaching students of all ages and types, her favorite student is you.

zach brass (nyc)
It was a (most likely dark and stormy) night in 2011 when Zach Brass wandered into a group of people dancing and accidentally fell in love with it. Ever since then, he's spent over a decade putting his pure, unbridled enthusiasm into dancing and teaching both lindy hop and blues dancing. He's danced and taught all around the world, from Canada to Italy to the Middle East, but is passionate about developing the local scene in New York City. As a teacher, Zach is always looking to make sure everyone walking into a class for the first time not only learns, but also relaxes enough to have a great time. As he puts it, "Dancing ruined my life in the best way possible!"
Jess Noble (NYC)
Jess Noble is an NYC Blues dancer known for her connection, following technique and playfulness on the dance floor. Of all the dances she does, blues has stood out for Jess in its groundedness, strength, and sass since she started in 2016. She loves exploring how blues weaves through other African American vernacular dances and into later styles of music like soul and R&B. Drawing on a range of dance and movement inspirations from Lindy, Balboa, Tango, martial arts, and air steps, Jess emphasizes being in the moment and generating movement from within the body.
